Senior Portraits and Family Session- Prattville, Alabama
When Tyler’s mother (Susan) contacted me about capturing her son’s senior portraits she asked if it were possible to get a few family portraits in as well. Susan brought it to my attention that over the years they have never had a single “professional” photo of their entire family. I of course happily obliged, and was able to sneak a few individuals of the all the family members! One super cool factor for this session that allowed the extra time to get some family pics in is that it was all photographed at the family’s private residence on family property. I love how it didn’t take the Turner’s family long to be themselves with me! I’m a firm believer in authenticity for portraits.
When I capture senior portrait sessions, I love working in any hobbies/interests I can with the senior. Tyler had a few locations on the property that was sacred to him where he would like to read and play his Ukulele. Getting some images with him and his dog Dixie was also a must. It was my first time meeting the Turner family, but hopefully will not be the last. Tyler has plans to attend Faulkner University to get his core classes started before he decides what it is he wants to study for a career path. No doubt Tyler will go on to do some amazing work, great kid from a great loving family!
